I ordered some bullets to reload .45 ACP and didn't get what (I thought) I ordered. I wasn't real worried since I was figuring on picking up a .45 Colt at some point in time. I did get a New Vaquero this weekend and would like to use the JHP stuff I mis-ordered for my new gun. I know these New Vaquero guns are not as stout as the original models and don't want the load to be hot anyhow, but I'm having trouble finding any load data for that particular style bullet.
I haven't checked (but I'm fairly certain) I've got some Bullseye, Unique, TiteGroup and Power Pistol to choose from as well as some True Blue and Accurate 5.
Anybody have recommendations for a 260 gr. JHP sized .452 for New Vaquero loads? Thanks fellas.

Pulled this from LoadData. These are MAX loads. Reduce by 10% and work up.

Wt. Bullet Powder Manufacturer Powder Charge Velocity
260 Speer JHP Alliant Bullseye 7.1 841
Remarks: OAL: 1.590"
260 Speer JHP Alliant Power Pistol 8.4 852
Remarks: OAL: 1.590"
260 Speer JHP Alliant Blue Dot 13.0 941
Remarks: OAL: 1.590"

.40

I actually found one load in a 2015 Hodgdon manual that gave a CUP of 12,500, it does NOT indicate whether it's .451 or .452.......would reducing by 10% to start be safe?
