.45 Super and HK USP......

So who's done it? Who's fired .45 Super in their HK USP 45? My understanding is that it is totally safe with the understanding that it would be best to but in a heavier recoil spring. So, what spring? Where do you find the ammo? Ever since I learned of this I just can't get it out of my head!!

I don't have an answer to your question, but I would suggest you try your luck by asking the nice people over at www.hkpro.com. Post in their handgun forum, if anyone knows (aside from the nice people on THR), they will.

I have not shot any out of mine but we did put a box through my friends USP and they shot fine. I was surprised that the recoil wasn't more severe. I really can't see why you would want to shoot a lot of them through your USP as they can't be good for it but it was fun.
