Will start loading a 45ACP next month. Have found a source of .452 bullets I am interested in. Are these suitable for 45 acp auto pistol loads or should I stick with .451. THese are plated bullets.
I've been loading with both and really cant tell the difference. Even when measured with a digital mic many of the .452's come in around .451 because of the slight inconsistency of the plating.
Without a cannelure, isn't it a safe assumption that the bullets are intended for .45ACP? There would be more of a question if the .452 bullets were jacketed rather than plated.
