I have been looking at getting a couple of mags for my 22MAG CZ 452 to take to Appleseed next month but have found that they are WAY overpriced. Anywhere that I can order them for <$25?

I have a 452 in .22LR and haven't found them for less than $25 anywhere, nor have I found any aftermarket magazines. In fact, they seem to be in high demand, as midwayusa is usually sold out.

Midway has them now but for the 22MAG they are $36. I didn't check the LR mags but they are in stock I think. Buds has them for around $30 so I might just have to suck it up and get one.

When I got may Special a fews years back Whittaker Guns sold CZ mags for a few dollars less than anyone else I could find. Might be worth a call:270-229-0140.

Two other options are to post a message in the CZ section of rimfirecentral and over of the czforum and see if someone has a line of more reasonably priced mags for a 22 magnum or has a couple they will part company with.

Now that these rifles are so popular CZ is able to ask for and get higher prices.

Sorry I couldn't be more help and best of luck,

S-

Yeah I dont understand the price either. Full size mags for other guns cost less than what CZ charges for these tiny 5 rounders.

I have a 452 American in .22 WMR. The mags aren't inexpensive, but they aren't overpriced.

Mags for my Sako Finnfire are overpriced. :(

"Sako Finnfire P94S / 22LR / 5 $69"

I agree - CZ is off their rocker on the prices.
I've never tried the polymer version though.

The czs have become so popular so fast, and no-one thought ahead that everyone who bought one would want a couple more mags. This shows how much these guns are being used for bench shooting where a single 5 rd mag isn't enough. If you were just hunting squirrels it might be. So supply and demand I think. Supply will catch up but till then gotta pay up.
