The Sierra 240gr JHC is not designed to withstand full power 454 Casull pressures. Bullets used for full power 454 Casull must be made specifically for it. Lighter constructed bullets have been known to obturate in the forcing cone and split barrels when used for full power 454 Casull. This is why the bullet makers have two different classes of 45 caliber revolver bullets and why both Hodgdon and Sierra do not publish data for the Sierra 240gr JHC using H110 in 454 Casull. Sierra's website describes their 240gr JHC as suitable for 45 ACP through moderate 454 Casull. I wouldn't risk my gun, myself and anyone near me using that bullet with H110 in 454 Casull. If you want to use a Sierra bullet with H110 get their 300gr JSP, otherwise use the 240gr bullets with published data using a faster powder at lower velocities.
