Greetings,

I found out there are roughly 107 brass of 9mm per pound.
How many 45acp brass per pound does it have? Anyone weighted it?

Thank you

7000gr in a pound.

Weigh a case.

Divide 7000 by that number.

.45 CCI brass with spent primer weighed 89.6gr.

7000/89.6= 78.125, so 78 pcs of brass in a pound of .45 brass.

380 Auto- 8.5 lbs
9mm-9 lbs
40 S&W/357 Sig-10 lbs.
38 SPL-10 lbs.
357 Mag-12 lbs.
10mm-11 lbs.
45 ACP-12.5 lbs.

That's the number of pounds per 1000pcs of brass.

4000 rounds (in two flat rate boxes) was around fifty six pounds. That math on that tells me that each pound contained approximately 75 rounds.

45 ACP-12.5 lbs.

That's the number of pounds per 1000pcs of brass.
The math on that says 80 rounds per pound.

On mixed headstamp I figure 75 per lb to be fair. Could be a couple more, but why skimp on a deal?

There will be variances in brass weight that will effect the per pound rate. That was a guide, not the gospel.
