I'm considering buying a Rossi-made Legacy Puma '92 16" lever rifle in .454 chambering. I get the impression that .45Colt is equally suitable for use in this .454 chambered rifle. Is that true?
Should I expect to have equally good functioning from .45Colt cartridges in this rifle chambered for .454 Casull?
If so, I think I may go for it. It's a really sweet little 16" carbine with butt pad, hi-viz sights, and stainless steel. Only thing is that for the most part, I will probably just shoot .45 Colt, with just the occasional use of .454 Casull.
