We prefer "reloaders".if you are not a brass case snob
Hehe...reloaders are actually absolutely excluded from my comment! I meant the people who say "I will NOT shoot steel cased ammo in my rifle - its just too good and expensive for that/it wears out the ($10) extractor/because the internet said it wrecks your rifle"We prefer "reloaders".

If steel case wrecks rifles than I'm amazed the Russian military has any guns left! Thats just about all the Russians use.
Actually the original 7.62x39 and x54 ammo was BRASS cased so they weren't "designed" for steel cased ammo.Soviet rifles are designed for steel, so this may be a bit disingenuous.
OTOH, ARs can be finicky; some may digest steel cases OK and others may not.
The may or may not cause trouble with the extractor.
Only the OP can tell if his AR works with steel cases or not.
I have an AR, and will not run steel through it. I don't know if mine can handle it or not and really don't care to tinker with it to find out, so I stick with brass.
I have a WASR 10 as well, and really don't care what cr@p I shove through it. It seems to go "BANG!" on cheapo steel stuff just fine. OTOH, it's an AK.
Big +1. And that is a big "IF" you need to buy a new bolt and carrier, or rifle....Well your saving about $100 on a case shooting the steel stuff. After a case or two you can just buy a new bolt and carrier, after 10 a new gun.
