I have a Bushmaster V match with a 1 in 9 twist and a 24" barrel.
Will the longer barrel help stabilize heavier bullets?

I originally said sometimes but that's incorrect. What is "heavier"? It's not only the bullet weight that effects stability, bullet length is also very important.

No.

Barrel length has nothing to do with it.

It's all about the twist rate.

Once the bullet moves one bullet length into the rifling, the bullet is spinning as fast as it will ever spin.

Any slight gain in RPM due to more velocity in a longer barrel would be insignificant.
