Went up to the Pima Pistol range in Tucson, Az to sight in a new scope on the Beo. Picked up a new Accushot 30mm Scope with Parallax Setting: 10 Yds - Infinity Magnification: 3X - 12X Tube Diameter: 30mm Objective Diameter: 44mm Field of View @ 100 yards: 32.0' - 11.5' Eye Relief: 3.4" - 3.0" Exit Pupil: 14.7mm - 3.7mm Click Value @100 yards: 1/4" Length: 269mm Weight: 17.6 oz SWAT 3-12X44 Compact AO Mil-dot Scope.................It goes for anywhere from around $130.00-$160.00 depending on where you find it.....Anyway, I know I can shoot lots better than my last range report and I know my reloads should shoot way better than last time. It wasn't me or my reloading. Cheap Chinese 3X9 out of focus scope was to blame! The Beo and my reloads worked great this time. Before I took the gun to the range, it got a thorough cleaning, including the firing pin channel. No lube either this time on the firing pin. Only misfires I had was when a case would bounce back into the ejection port after hitting the bag........The first sight in groups where shot at 25 yds. First shot is in the middle below the aiming point. All groups at 25 yds were three shot groups. The small orange circles are 1 ". Most of my shots at 75 yds were around an inch and a half with a flyer sometimes. Flyers were my fault..... I should do 3 shot groups instead of 5 shot groups. I really like this gun! This is not me shooting it, but another shooter who wanted to try it........The scope is great, sharp, clean, crisp and you can focus it at any range. I think it will hold up well. I talked to their sales people and they suggested it. I wanted a short scope for the Beo. Long scopes on a 16" carbine look funny!
It does kick a bit:
