Went up to the Pima Pistol range in Tucson, Az to sight in a new scope on the Beo. Picked up a new Accushot 30mm Scope with Parallax Setting: 10 Yds - Infinity Magnification: 3X - 12X Tube Diameter: 30mm Objective Diameter: 44mm Field of View @ 100 yards: 32.0' - 11.5' Eye Relief: 3.4" - 3.0" Exit Pupil: 14.7mm - 3.7mm Click Value @100 yards: 1/4" Length: 269mm Weight: 17.6 oz SWAT 3-12X44 Compact AO Mil-dot Scope.................It goes for anywhere from around $130.00-$160.00 depending on where you find it.....Anyway, I know I can shoot lots better than my last range report and I know my reloads should shoot way better than last time. It wasn't me or my reloading. Cheap Chinese 3X9 out of focus scope was to blame! The Beo and my reloads worked great this time. Before I took the gun to the range, it got a thorough cleaning, including the firing pin channel. No lube either this time on the firing pin. Only misfires I had was when a case would bounce back into the ejection port after hitting the bag........The first sight in groups where shot at 25 yds. First shot is in the middle below the aiming point. All groups at 25 yds were three shot groups. The small orange circles are 1 ". Most of my shots at 75 yds were around an inch and a half with a flyer sometimes. Flyers were my fault..... I should do 3 shot groups instead of 5 shot groups. I really like this gun! This is not me shooting it, but another shooter who wanted to try it........The scope is great, sharp, clean, crisp and you can focus it at any range. I think it will hold up well. I talked to their sales people and they suggested it. I wanted a short scope for the Beo. Long scopes on a 16" carbine look funny! :what:

It does kick a bit:

Nice Wulf she looks great, welcome to the club!
I bought my Wulf a little over a year ago piece by piece.
A good accurate load to try is with 335 grain Rainier bullets, 36.0 grains of Lil'Gun and CCI magnum pistol primers. They work great in my Wulf.
For a scope I chose the Burris Signature Safari 1.75-5x32mm scope. This scope has held up well to the Wulf's recoil

I would ditch the long range scope and get an aimpoint for eotech and get an aimpoint 3x magnifier which has nice long eye relief with a flip to sid emount, and its good to go for CQB with ligher loads and big game hunting with the 400 grainers, and even good protection for bear country.

Very nice, I got a .50 Beowulf when they first came out and love it. Yes, it's a bit rugged shooting off the bench but it works wonders on a hog hunt. This was the very first 5 shot group I fired at 50 yards when I was sighting it in, factory 325gr. HP's.

I originally had a 1.5-4.5 Bushnell scope on it but recently switched to a 2-7 Pentax. It's set up for night hunting hogs with a light. The friend that lets me hunt his place has it set up so at night we usually only have 50 yard shots or less and this light is just adequate for that range.

try backing your load off. I shoot mostly renieer 334 hps and found that when i went down form 38 grains of lilgun to 35 that my flyers all went away and accuracy shrunk by about half. Mine will easily shoot 1.5 inch at a 100 yards. I swapped on an aimpoint now and its a bit tougher to shoot groups with but still manage 2 inch at a 100 with it. My buddys with the same load will do one inch at a 100. By the way we penetration tested those cheap reniers and they do just as well as any of the premium bullets weve tested and tend to be the most accurate bullet in both of our beos.

Yes they do, jpwilly. It's called the .458 SOCOM. All the .45-70 bullets you want, in a platform that fits in an AR15. I've got one and I love it. The brass is a little expensive (although I'm sure .50 Beowulf is too) but the bullets are cheap because of the availability in .458 caliber.
