That said, Beowulf seems like a cool round. I'd lean towards 458 SOCOM for a big bore AR, if I were buying one, however.l

actually, i cant wait until they develop something like a laser rifle for civilian use. nothing to use up, except electricty. plug it into the wall overnight, and you are ready to rock!

I think this would be an awesome carbine for Alaska, would put a real hurtin' on a bear under 100 yards.

The Beowulf does nasty things to Pigs! I haven't tried it on a deer yet. I'm running hand loads with 335 grain HP bullets. I'd feel comfortable shooting game out to about 150 yards.
