50 Beowulf

Im sure I have seen this asked before but I cant find the anwser. I am putting together a 50 Beowulf. My upper is a vltor. How much of the ejection port needs to be removed. My machinist asked me how much needs removed . Thank you for helping me out.

I measured 3.045"x0.678" on mine. They say you can't run a dust cover on them but mine works pretty good.
