.500 S&W Magnum H&R Topper

Why does the H&R Topper in .500 S&W Magnum fascinate me? Is it because it's roughly equivalent to the .50-90 buffalo gun, or is it because I don't like my shoulder? Maybe it's missing the .50 cal on my tank.

What I really could use is one of those 16 inch barreled H&R Toppers in .357 Magnum, but I missed the last one I saw 'cause I was too slow. (Stopped to ask the wife if I could.)

instead of 500s&w, how about one in 45-70. One In 357 mag or max would be fun.

I understand ... I HAD to have one. I don't know which hurts worse ... my .500 S&W or the .45/70.

I had a Topper in 12 gauge for awhile. How does the recoil compare to that?
