Does anyone know where you can find some heavy .54 caliber conicals. 500 grains would be good, 600 would be better. THese would be used for hog hunting. I know you don't need them that big but I would still like to find some. Also, could anyone recommend good conical (brand, weight) for deer sized game, so far Ive used PRB on deer.

Thanks for the help.

You must be a gluteon for punishment. The recoil from slugs that weight would be bad. You might have to cast your own. Look at the Lee catalogue. They might have molds that size.

There was a guy on another forum that used the 348g powerbelt with 100 grains of pellets. He said it dropped right in its tracks. Not sure why you'd want a bullet as big as the 500 and 600 grains you listed. You got more balls than me thats for sure.
