54R Polish Heavy Ball Ammo...any good?

I was offered some Mosin Feed, in the form of Polish steel cased heavy ball (don't know the grain, was just told "heavy"). $55 for 250 rds, sounds cheap enough. Does anybody have any experience with this? He also said he had a small amout of silvertip also. Should I go for it?

Good stuff, but that heavy ball ammo can be a bit tough on the barrel. I'd go for all of it and see if I could get a good deal. You can also get the Hungarian Heavy ball stuff for cheap off of AIM/J&G and other places.
