6.5G is hard to find here. Sure, one could mail order...

They have it in the stores near me. How many deer/hogs do you shoot in a year. If your just hunting with some sight in and practice the difference in price is probably going to amount to $20 a year. I handload so not a big deal either way for me.

I shot a doe with a 6.5 G loaded with 120 gn Nosler BT’s last week. That combination works very well at velocities common to the 6.5 or 6.8.
