I've read about the long throat depth of a M96 because it was designed to shoot the long 160 gr. military bullet.
Let's say I put together a M96 barrel on a Mexican action (Tweed).
Does that limit the lighter varmint bullets due to being too far from the lands?
Does it eliminate the use of higher pressure commerical loads?
Or, would it be better to purchase a CZ or Tikka?
What are the limitations if I build a Tweed?
I need some enlightenment!
