6.8 SPC, How heavy can I go.

I'm helping a buddy get into re-loading. He has a AR-15 in 6.8 SPC. The twist is 1:10. He wants to use the gun for deer hunting.

How heavy can we go with the bullet and still see good stability?

I used to shoot 130grain Hornady SST's from my 6.8spc encore bbl. IIRC velocity was appx 2450fps
