6.8SPC in a rifle-length AR gas system?

Has anyone put a fair amount of trigger time behind a 6.8SPC with a rifle-length gas system? All of mine are carbine- or mid-length, and I wonder if 6.8SPC will work reliably in a longer gas system.....

I've yet to see an AR in rifle configuration chambered for 6.8SPC, I always see carbine configuration.
