I am trying to decide on a revolver for shooting and carry. I like the 625 type, but am unfamiliar with the PC gun and what it is supposed to offer. Also what does the V-Comp offer in any way. I own a 610 and really like it but it is too big at 6.5" Ha HA. I realize these are alittle big for what others would carry aka snubnose, but I also have a G30. Thanks ahead of time.

Just do like I did... try to buy them all!!

625-3 Very similar to the current production, but with a hammer mounted firing pin and no lock. A classic N Frame, and probably the best "all around" value. Also comes in 4". Street price new, around $600.

625 V-comp This 2000 vintage is the same as the current V-comp, but without the lock. Removeable comp, "velvet" bead blast finish, unflutted cylinder, Millett dovetail front sight, ball detent lock up, PC case. Street price new, around $850.

625 ""Miculek", again similar to current production but without the lock. "Classic" interchangable front sight (gold bead), 5.25" barrel with deep rifling, short cylinder with champhered carge holes, PC case. Also available in 4". Street price new, around $850.
