Double action pull or single action pull??

You can put in a Wolff Reduced Power spring kit and clean and lube the action with high quality action grease to improve the DA considerably.

Do Not mess with the single-action pull as it is not owner adjustable.
And they are in general very very good on a 629 already!

If the gun is to ever be used for any hunting or self-defense use, I would not mess with it, as light springs can compromise reliability somewhat.

Whatever you do, make sure you keep your strain screw tight. It is NOT a pull weight adjustment.

Wolff sells springs of different power levels. I would not expect the lightest springs to light off your primers very reliably. Their standard level springs are generally lighter than the factory spring and should not produce misfires.

The very best "do it yourself" trigger job is to fire and/or dryfire about 5-10,000 times.

It smooths the surfaces, improves your trigger finger strength, and, when using live ammo, produces a soothing, satisfying "bang." :)

I decided to get me a ruger vaquero .44 mag. I'll toy with it. Any good mods for that.
