629-4 Smith

I just picked up a used Smith and Wesson Model 629-4 44 mag. Mountain Gun. Took it to the range on Saturday and was surprised at the recoll, that is to say not a bad as I was expecting. For a light gun the kick wasn't that bad. I was using 240 gr CCI Blazer ammo. Don't get me wrong after a box of 50, that was enough shooting for that session. I think the Houge grips take a lot of the bite out of it, but it still barked loud enough to get the attention of the other guy's at the range. All in all a great gun.
