629 perf ctr??? Should I???

I have a chance to get this pistol from my favorite local gunnery for 599.00 lnib. I think it would make a sweet whitetail hunter. WHat do you think? I am not really a "revolver guy". Is this a good price? Does anybody have any experiences to share.

That's a pretty good price for a Performance Center N-frame. If it runs good and you like it, grab it. Stick some good 240 grain hollow points in it and go huntin!

Sounds fair

I had a 6" PC 629 w/ removeable comp and was very pleased with it. I sold it because of the weight but I do miss it. Man, that thing shot! Just as an FYI, I believe I sold it for $725 in very good shape.

My only concern would be the "L.N.I.B." appellation. If it really is like new, that's not a bad price.
