Thanks again for the feedback. I don't think I'm going to worry about this issue as the revolver seems to be working fine. As I mentioned the cylinder does spin, but the tips of the loaded rounds do drag against the metal extension. When empty there is about a 1/16 gap between the cylinder and the frame in front of this extension. I did call the gun shop to ask about this though, & a very condescending salesperson at the shop told me that this was normal. If it become worse I will check into it more, but it doesn't seem to be a problem as I can still easily load the cylinder. Thanks again though for the responses everyone.
