686-4. Round butt or Square butt?

I have a S&W 686-4 L frame. Does it have a Round Butt or Square butt?

My old one had a square butt. Why don't you remove the hand grip? As I recall, it is only one screw.

My 686-4 was a RB. I put an Ajax conversion grip on it to give it the feel of a SB gun.
