Does anyone have this PC revolver and what is your opinion? I also want to confirm that one does not have to use moonclips... Dacos

I have a 686 38 Super from the Performance Center. I really like it. It does use moonclips and I've never tried shooting it without them.

I don't own one, but have shot one - NICE! Just like most of the other revolvers chambered for an "auto" cartridge, the cylinder is head-spaced on the case. So you can fire the weapon without the moon clip, just be sure to bring a small dowel rod or pencil with you to extract the spent case from the cylinder.

I have one and like it a lot. I just tried to fire it without moon clips. The firing pin only made a tiny little mark on the primer and it didn't fire.

Cool. :p Sorry about posting your name, I didn't even think about it.
