The first time, the plastic frame broke where the hammer pin was secured -- result, hammer wouldn't work.
The second time, I'm not sure what broke -- got very light strikes, would fire less than half the the time. Not hard primers, either -- used both reloads and several brands of commercial rounds.
The last time, the plastic frame broke where the aluminum frame was mounted -- pistol jammed half-open. Was able to clear it, but couldn't disassemble it.
I'm just too skeptical of this pistol's durability to trust it as a serious defensive weapon. If I had to rely on mine, I'd carry it a lot, but not shoot it more than the bare minimum to maintain proficiency with it.
IMHO, the P-11 is too big to be a pocket piece (YMMV), and if I'm going to carry a holster weapon, my Taurus PT-145 Millennium Pro gives me a lot more firepower with a much better trigger pull.
