Can a Kel-Tec P-11 handle an occasional feeding of +P ammo without damage? The one that I have been shooting now has about 500 rounds of standard 9mm, and still appears to be in new condition. I bought some Corbon +P for it, but am a little reluctant to try it in this gun.

I would be more reluctant about the discomfort that might come from shooting the CorBon, than the damage it would do to your gun.

I used to shoot corbons out of mine all the time and it didn't seem to mind at all, but if you haven't got a slip-on grip and a finger extention mag yet, you might give it some thought first.
I've put a few dozen rounds of +P through mine, and am satisfied that it can take it, but I've taken to backing off to standard vel 115g for regular practice.
My duty load for my KT P11 is now the standard pressure Speer Gold Dot 124g. Avg vel out of a High Power (according to Stephen Camp's The Shooter's Guide to Ammunition for the Browning Hi Power) is about 1100 fps. Figure about 1030 out of the shorter P11 barrel. Good accuracy, nice penetration, and consistant expansion with zero lost weight in wetpack makes it a good choice to me, and it feeds ALWAYS.
The Corbon 115 +P stuff, OTOH, is an old technology bullet that fragments pretty violently, and you get more wear and tear on your pistol.

Put grease on your slide rails. This will help prevent damage from the steel slide to the aluminum frame.
Lithium grease or moly grease- either less than $5.00 from Wally World- will work. And you'll have enough grease to last for years if you just use it for areas of heavy metal-metal contact in your firearms.

I'll use +P loads in my P-11 once in a while. I'm sure there's no problem.
I also have the 40 S&W conversion. Now that puts some strain on the 9mm P-11 frame.

As Walt Sherrill posted these are Robust little guns. IIRC Keltec "suggests" 115 gr standard pressure rounds - or they did back I when I rec'd mine.
Matt G is correct as well - why use a +p when a standard pressure rd will do.
-Ammo must be reliable in any firearm.
-POA/POI
If one does not have these, shot placement will not occur. Shot to shot will suffer with increased recoil.
That said...
When I was asked to T&E the P-11, [ read: tear it up] some loads were "scoop powder from cigar box and stick a bullet in it loads". I was wearing gloves, a Kevalr vest and helmet with faceshield.
Kinda glad to get back to Factory loads
J Shirley is correct as well with regard to lubrication. One popular product touts "never use grease - oil is better". Not in my testing, over a variety of firearms.

Mine currently has the Win 115 gr STHP. Always feeds, shoots POA/POI, and these are left over from some 3k + rds of these I bought to use in various platforms.
Speer Gold Dot 124gr, as stated is a great load , feeds well, and has consisitent results.

Those 124gr golddots are what I settled on when I had mine. Fine accuracy and recoil was quite managable. Had a fella sell me some 115gr gold dot +P+'s (40,000 CUP's) once. Still have half a box. Gun held up just fine, but they hammered my hand so badly my thumb went numb for awhile.

forget what kel-tec employee on ktog.org it was. but his recommendation was yes you can use +p but they dont recommend a steady diet or alot in one setting. believe he said it could soften the barrel over time.
a little test to try. set up a bad guy target say about 20 feet away. load up the +p rounds into the gun. now picture that that bad guy is high on meth, has a knife and coming at you fast. shoot the gun rapidly and see how many times you hit the target, in say 3 seconds. if the recoil is hard you might not hit the target let alone in someplace that will stop the threat. than try it with standard pressure rounds you might find better results with standard rounds and I would rather be hitting with standard loads than missing with +p loads.
I made a target holder that is a one up from that. it is on 8 inch terf tires with a rope attached to it. take turns running back with the rope, it is differnt trying to hit a moving target. i didnt start out with that use to it, it was built as a portable target holder. so far no one has shot a tire... yet.
