I was wondering if anyone had any loads for a 130 grain GC lead bullets. I was thinking of some low buck loads for my Contender and fire forming brass. All of my books have loads for jacketed bullets.
Lyman 48 th loading manual has one bullet weight listed for the 7-30 Waters, 135 grains. Powders listed are; SR 4759, XMP- 5744, RX7, IMR-3031, 748, AA2460, and H-335. To save me some typing pick which ones you have, I'll post the loads.
Okay, here's what Lyman says for those two;
AA2460- start 26.0 vel 1882 max-32.0 vel 2273
H335 start 26.2 vel 1904 max- 32.0 vel 2300
That's for a 135 grain rn gas checked bullet. It should be safe for a 130 grainer as it's 5 grains lighter.
