Has there been a general price increase on Russian-caliber ammo?
I used to find 7.62X39 for $80 per 1000 several months ago. Now they are $120+ ?

Supply of 7.62 Russian has been thinning out. The common scapegoat is the increased demand for Iraq and other trouble spots, and the Russians are shipping a fair amount of production in that direction.

$120/500 rounds sounds about normal for now.

Yikes! You pay that much? Really? I'll sell you all the 7.62x39 you want for $120/500. Heck, I'll let you have it for $100/500.

That's 'cause I have no trouble buying it for $120/1,000. That's typical. I consider a "great deal" these days to be anything under $100/1,000.
