So I have AKs, and I like AKs but I also like boltguns.

I've heard tell 7.62x39mm gets pretty accurate in a bolt gun, and hauling around an AK in the backwoods can raise some eyebrows.

So whats the word, I know the CZ-527 is pretty gucci, but RAAC supposedly has the BARS-4-1 now. I havent found the bars for sale anywhere, has anyone put their hands on one of these things yet?

Got a 527 in 7.62? Whats it print like, what're the sights like?

I had the .308 version of the BARS you mention and I regretted the purchase from day 1, this thing had a 15lb trigger and showed just the crudest machining you possibly can imagine. The darn thing was so crudely built it made a Mosin Nagant look like a SAKO by comparison. The scope rings shipped with the rifle were absolutely worthless as they wouldn't hold a scope.

I also owned the CZ which was a damn fine rifle, the sights are a tad crude and lack real windage adjustability, but those are just nitpicks on an OUTSTANDING firearm. Depending on loads my CZ would easily do .75 to 1.5 MOA with handloads and roughly 1 MOA more with steel cased factory loadings
