I would like to get an accurate, light rifle as a walk around warmint and for plinking into a 300-yard range. :)I would get
CZ 527 or Browning X-bolt. It is said that CZ is going to switch to 1:9 twist next year (which is positive for me), but they lack the synthetic stock that I want. Browning Hunter has a very good stock, but the twist will remain 1:12 for lighter loads. Can anyone compare X-bolt and 527? Is X-bolt as accurate as 527? Do they take 5.56 rounds OK?
TIA

For light accurate and good walking around gun. Look at Tikka T3 Lite. Weighs 6lbs 3ozs add ammo and scope and your looking at 7.5 lbs

BTW I'd never shoot 5.56 ammo in a chamber specifically for .223
