I just was given a case of 1200 rds of Norinco steel cased 7.62x39 ammo. Any idea what is worth? Any comments on the quality?
If it's steel core then you can get some grip out of it.
Actually, the East German steel core was the best / most accurate - easily under 3" (close to 2" on a good day) with iron sights at 100 yds out of my (and friends) SKSs. The Chinese steel core was next at around 3". The Russian stuff comes in closer to 5" out of the same guns (always a flyer or two).DaveInFloweryBranchGA said:Has nothing to do with the core. Has everything to do with the ammo's accuracy. The Chinese stuff is some of the most accurate, if not the the most, of the 7.62 X 39 MM.
