7.62x51 Chilean Surplus

I am about to buy 1,000 rounds of Chilean 7.62x51. Before I do I wanna check, Is this good ammo?

I did a search and didnt turn up anything.

I have heard nothing but bad things about actual chilean ammo. I seem to recall some was imported several years ago that blew up a few rifles. It still seems to show up once in awhile. I have about 1k rounds in crappy white boxes that I bought around y2k(last ammo scare). Ive never shot it since I read about it.
Cavim ammo, in green boxes, is good stuff but it doesnt run well in hk's. I mention this because its from Venezuela but I sometimes see it described as chilean.

I love, luv, luv, all the former nazi S. american stuff, chile, argentine, venez, all of it. Shot absolutely lights out, in my post ww2, J.C. Penny stamped , parker/hale 308 ultralite. if I was still shooting 308, I would not hesitate, to buy all i could.
