Hey be careful!!! I went shooting my ar yesterday, and my sp-10 followed by my sps tactical...

I spaced the fact that I had a 7lb trigger on the 1st two guns, and a 2# on my sps.... I guess its a good thing I keep my finger OFF the trigger and safety ON until I am ready to shoot.

anyways, I was not expecting it. I took aim, flipped the safe off, put my finger on the trigger, applyed a little pressure (as I am used to) and Kaboom! I still hit the target in the 8 ring, but was sooner then thought...

Yea, for sure.. Lucky for me I am pretty used to light triggers since all guns but a couple have them.. But your right.. Pull a hard trigger for a while then switching must be like wearing Leg weights for a day then taking them off and feeling like you are walking on air:D

Im glad I follow safety rules, but I was NOT ready to send that shot!!! It was not seated in my shoulder right, and POW!!!

Looks like you were not following safety rules:D Never put your finger on the trigger till you are ready to shoot:neener:

went and shot again today.. And man am I pleased with this rifle.. took it out to 200 yards today and finally shot with no real wind..

I shot 2 groups at 200 yards.. first was a 3 shot group less than a inch( was checking my zero after 100 yards).. and the second was a 5 shot group at 1.29"

It was prone again with a harris bipod, calm winds, Federal gold medal match 168's..

I have said it before but for the money this is just a awsome rifle.. :p

I will.. Once It gets out of Ca gun jail I will do a good side by side on them.. I really am looking forward to seeing the differance the brake makes.. I know alot of folks say it really smoothes them out.. I know the 308 is not too bad to begin with but for the quick second shot it will hopefully make a differance.. Maybe my 12 year old will even want to shoot it:D

Dry fired the the savage yesterday at gun jail... And the remington has a better trigger.. the accutrigger has a small amount of creep just like the one I allready have.. Dont get me wrong the Savage is still nice but I here people bashing the X-mark and I am trying to figure out why.. It is is the best trigger I have had.. Breaks so clean.. Will have more updates soon

yea, Redneck 40 has been doing some of his own loading and having really good luck.. search his posts.. you will love this rifle:D

Hey Brian, the load I'm running is 42.5 grains of IMR 4064, Federal GMM case (gold metal match), Remington 9-1/2 primer, and a Sierra 168 gr SMK. This load produce a 1" 200 yard group last weekend.:) They are a little slow out of my rifle, at 2510 fps, but its very accurate, at least in my rifle.

mine is shooting 2-3in's at 300yds so far. I have an hs precision stock on mine though. I have used 168gr a maxs to load mine up with varget gmm primers and norma cases so far. at 100, I have a couple of 1/2in groups to show for it. RG

He did measure C-T-C - they way you do it is take the measurement you see there (1.29"), and subtract the bullet diameter (.308), to come up with 0.982 - he has .99 - close enough. :)

Great shootin and nice rifle!
