Remington 721....

is this thing a POS or am I doing something wrong?

The bolt is hard to lift initially then after firing....

I have new sears coming from Numrich... I used a Arkansas stone after lightly sanding away the rough edge on top of the surface that engages the disconnect.

The bolt is dragging somewhere.... at first the cocking piece was dragging the trigger housing where the sears come through. Now it doesn't. I know with out seeing it it's hard to tell....

Help !

Check scope base screws & action screws for proper length as they may be binding the bolt.

Remove, disassemble, clean, adjust the trigger group completely or seek a professional to accomplish the task.

Well.... it's adjusted and the bolt cycles freely !

For the life of me... I can't figure out why the bolt was jamming... it wasn't the action screw up forward I knew that.. just because the sear engagement screw wasn't screwed in far enough. The instructions said to back out the trigger pull screw just enough to hold light pressure and screw in sear engagement till the firing pin dropped.... ?..ok... ? Also the over travel screw made contact and backed out a 1/4 turn... and I have the pull at 4 and half to deer hunt. Before hardly any creep and set at 3 and 1/4 pounds.
