Right now, academy is selling the marlin 795 for 100 bucks, thats right, 100 bucks!!!
I seriously doubt, that you will ever see a new sold rifle , of any caliber, new or milsurp, for this price , again!!!! EVer!!!! I am thinking of getting 3- as for those in the know, many consider this the best of the mod 60, a synth stock, that can take a lifetime of abuse, combined with fast reloading mags.
I have seen these being sold for as much as 200 bucks, at gunshops and shows, and they are usually 150 or more, anywhere you go.
So if anyone was even remotely thinking of a good little new semiauto,
THIS IS IT!!!! JUMP NOW!!!! I may get 3 or 4, just for an investment pupose.
if you don't have an Academy near you, see if you can get an ad from academy, from yourpaper, or off a website, and take it to your nearest big box store, like wally world or Gander, and see if they will match.
Again, you will proly never see this deal again, in our lives; 100 bucks, for a new rifle, with the added bonus of this quality, accuracy,
and reliability...just too good a rifle to pass up.

Alright, you got some 'splainin' to do.

Mosey'd over there on my lunch break today (Academy on 290 @ Hwy 6). Counter guy didn't know anything about $100 795s, and it wasn't in the ad. I think the $100 deal was for the Mossberg Plinkster.

They did have a 795SS for $200. I fondled that one....and it was nice! If I come across two spare bills, I might have to pick that one up.

Yep, I just called my local Academy here in Ft Worth on I-35 and they didn't know anything about it either.

They also had the SS795 for $200.00.

So start 'splainin'.
