Texas, baby!
I know we kid alot around here about gander; but every now and again I will see something good.
If anyone is going to the houston area stores, or maybe this is all the stores, they are selling mosin 91/30's with complete accessories package, including the add on bayonet, for 100 bucks right now, and that is pretty sweet.
But even better is this; the Houston store on 45 north right now, has 2 rifle racks right in front of the gun area with several rifles that are discounted to a degree. They have a brannew marlin xs-7 , in 308, for 329 bucks, discounted an additional 10% , which will make it jus below 300. Pretty schwing!!, if you are looking for a rifle in 308 right now...

I kinda kid about them, But they are normaly 50% higher than other local gun stores and 100% higher than online shopping. Normally.

But yes they are having some good deals going on, Especially in Optics if you speak to the right person. Look at the back page of the flyer and it says "50% off Optics sale" which in the first place they arent too over priced on most of those things.

I know i saw a Bushnell TRS-25 for $103 which is $135+ online and normally $199 at normal store prices. I love that little red dot and wish i had a need for a new one.

... I know what you mean, i am deff thinking of getting the bushnell/EO tech clone; it is going for like 149 bucks right now. If the price is even cheaper, that would be awesome.

I doubt if they are Hex recievers...they aren't that incompetent. But it wouldsnt hurt to go look.

... to be honest, I did not look at them; just noticed the sale in the flyer they were passing out. It would be cool though, just to go up there, and ask one of the dudes to check them out and look for a hex receiver, maybe they will have a few. I still like that marlin deal as well; I just don't happen to shoot 308...

I had one of those bushnell labeled eotechs. Worked well. For $150 I think it stands out as a great buy. Maybe not built to handle WWIII but for most civilians it works just dandy. If I ran across another new at that price I would buy two.

yep, get off at the exit, just after the bridge down there; it comes up fast.
there is one more also, on 290 and hwy 6.
That is good to know about the bushy, will have to pick up a couple for the ak's...
