7mm savage 111 what scope?

just puchased a 111 in 7mm and am looking to spend 200-300 on a scope. will be used out west. I am thinking redfield or nikon in a 4x12x40?

Nikon would be good, I chose a Nikon Prostaff over a Redfield Revolution, the Nikon glass was clearer.

How about a NIkon Monarch UCC? They are around $250-300.
