Savage 111 Scope mount question....

I have just purchased a Savage 111 in 7mm mag. It came with a scope already mounted but I decided to take that scope off and put a better one on,.....the problem being that my new scope is a Bushnell Trophy XLT and will not fit in the mounts on the gun....it seems the mounts need to be moved closer together (about an inch closer together). I dont want to re-tap the receiver....are there different mounts that will fit the bases on my 111 and if so does anybody know who makes them and part numbers etc?...Thanks in advance!!
