8/15/09 - Range Report Rem-700 SPS Tactical

Wanted to share this Range report. I'm new to longer range shooting and I'm thinking this is pretty good. Plus I'm impressed with the out of the box accuracy of this rifle for the money.

Remington 700 SPS Tactical
300 Yd.
168Gr. SMK-HPBT
43.7Gr. Reloader-15
Loaded out to the lands; 3.360" w/ a Stoney

Real nice Martyk, most Remingtons will shoot pretty well out of the box and usually only gets better.

That is impressive for 300 yds! The 700s I have owned in .308 were extremely accurate but unfortunately my range is limited to a mere 100 yards so I went back to the .223 for now. But if I buy a .308 again I am getting a SPS Tactical too!
