870 age

hey guys, I've been following the site here for a few months and finally registered. Knowing how Mr. McCracken feels about 870's I was wondering if someone could tell me when mine was made. It's a 18" plain, cylinder bore, brass bead, 2 3/4" chamber, blued, serated top strap and wood stocked 870P. I got it n.i.b. for $275 about 2 years ago. I'd had a identical 870 I bought off my dept. around 1991 that I sold to a friend (stupid, that gun had history) a Marine Magnum, a 20" parked 870P magnum, also sold to friends, and was going to buy a 11-87P when I saw this one, and got homesick, if you know what mean. The serial # is T632***. I was looking at a few old pics today and it got me wondering, thanks for the help, Mal

Dave - for some reason, that comment made me think of that Bobby Miller story from the "Loudest Pump Action" thread a while ago. It still cracks me up and makes my wife wonder why I'm chuckling out loud.
