Wow, this thread kept going in my absence. As an update, I have a question...is it possible to get the entire trigger group from Brownell's or something as a drop-in? That would be sweet to get a whole entirely metal trigger housing, etc.......

You can find trigger groups for sale on eBay, new and used from $40 up to $90 or so.

I bought a LH safety RH trigger group, haven't decided to sell it but that's one example of a source.

The safety is simple and inespensive to replace. A Wilson Big Head safety is $12.00, the only change I've made other than the trigger group, which is a special order item and hard to find.

My area would be West Virginia. The $50 rebate will work on the upc code on the clearance 870 I found.

But, I was told that this one (Mine!) was the last in the store. It's all mine now.
