870 pmax magazine question

As a new owner of an 870 police, I have a few questions about the 870 pmax.

1.) I have noticed that these come with a +2 magazine extension. Are these 6 round tubes welded on at the factory, or is it the standard 4 welded round tube with a Remington removable +2 magazine installed?

2.) Are there any differences as far as trigger group, etc from previous Police models?

As far as I know, it's got the removable factory extension, and it's the same as every other police model internally.

He's right, I have a couple, all of the Remingtons with extended capacity mags use add on extensions.
