870 receiver stud fix info please

Hello all,
In the process of changing the stock on my Remington 870 Express HD, I've managed to screw up both the stock bolt and the receiver stud (that the bolt screws into) by stripping out the threads on both. I've got the replacement parts on the way to me from Brownells, but I'm having a little trouble unscrewing the receiver stud from the back of the receiver; I can't even get it to turn in the least little bit!
My questions are:
1) Does this part have some sort of thread-locker in it?
2) Should I attempt to apply heat (blowtorch?) before I try to unscrew it?
3) (Stupid question) This part does screw off in the normal direction, correct? (Righty-tighty, lefty loosey?)

First, let's be SURE we're talking about the same part.
In this view, it's part # 40.

If so, it's a standard right-hand thread.
The stud is screwed in TIGHT and often tends to partially strip or deform the stud threads when it's removed.
I've never sen any Loctite on a stud from the factory, it's just TIGHT.

I recommend giving the stud and receiver a shot of a penetrating fluid like Kroil or even CLP Breakfree, then using a socket set to remove it, and some Loctite RED to reinstall.

Yep, it's part #40. I'll oil it up tonight like you suggested and let it creep in, and give a strong turn tomorrow. Thanks for the advice; as usual, you're full of good info, Dfariswheel!
