Anyone know of a good source for no-drill sling mounts for an 870? I've searched and found couple options, TOTAL shotgun sling from Outdoor Connection and one from Swiftach. I have an 870 with synthetic stock and I am not sure a sling mount will hold in the plastic butt stock. Any ideas?

I actually mistakenly bought a shotgun sling called the "super stretch comfiortr ****gun sling" at Kittery trading post in Maine for my 870. It has loops on the end that attach to the barrel and around the stock at the grip without having to drill into the stock or get a different magazine cap. I also saw a few of the slings with loops at wal-mart, and they seemed pretty decent.

I ended up returning it and getting a sling that used swivels. It was pretty easy to do, but I have a laminated stock, so I'm unsure how well it would work with a synthetic stock.

+1 on the GG&G single point
IMO the single point sling is better for limited carry while clearing a building, etc. while a 2-point is better for extended lengths of carry.

Thanks for the replies. pdowg881, I use it for HD, some clays and (will) use it for bird hunting. I really like the idea of a single point for HD and since the front can be either a mag cap or the GG&G, that could fit the hunting side as well. Thanks guys!
