Theres a reason it is so well loved.

BTW who prefers the serrated ribs to the smooth ones? I realize its machined so its straiter but it catches on stuff and really dosent cut down on glare or w/e they were going for.

Here's the pictures I have. It's from the first batch of Ducks Unlimited 870's made in 1974, I think. One thing that's odd to me is that even I fire it a couple times a year, there's little to no wear on the magazine tube. I don't know if it's a matter of fitting, or just that it doesn't get as much use as some of my other shotguns. It's definitely a slick operator.
