Recently watched an episode of "Notorious" where the murder weapon was a 9 shot revolver. The date of the incident was 1987.

Man murdered his daughter. Shot her 27 times. While the gun was never found (allegedly thrown in a river), the narrator repeated the 9 shot revolver numerous times emphasizing the need to reload 2 times.

Just curious. What gun would that have been?

Thanks,

Harrington & Richards and Iver Johnson both made .22 / 9-shot revolvers. To a degree both remain popular today - especially the H&R.

Could have been a few choices -- all .22s, I believe.

H&R (905, 929, 939, etc) and Taurus (Model 94) make 9-shot revolvers.

High standard MK. I, nine rounds.
I have one and wouldn't want anyone to empty it in my direction.

I've got a nine shot 22 Taurus. After two cylinder fulls the spent cases won't come out without tapping the ejector rod with something like a small hammer. Takes all the fun out of shooting the gun. Bad Taurus. Very bad Taurus.

I've got a Llama .22LR that has the same problem, has done this since new. What causes it and how can it be fixed?

wvshooter take a bit of metal polish on a cotton patch and brush. Put in a battery drill and polish the cylinder bores. It will work great next time out. Rough cylinders in many 22's out there.

Cajun, nice little .22 aren't they? I've got one identical to it.

Yes, they are. The D/A is nothing to write home about, but the S/A is pretty good. I got that one for next to nothing a few weeks ago. It's almost as old as I am, and in a lot better shape. :D
