Amen I will never own another! Brand new out of the box bent barrel.. IT took a year for them to make good. I really expected to get shafted, but I only received half of the shaft lol. The replacement gun, the sights are cocked to one side... Shoots Horrible .. I am not going to waste my time sending it back, I will just throw it into the safe and warn others. Other 94 models I have have had, 3 in all, have had timming trouble! My hope is that the company goes into something more suitable to thier skill set, maybe like selling ice cream cones.. Hope this helps...

I do not want a new Taurus. I have several old 90's & early 2000 And am real happy with them . From almost everyone around here all I hear of is the new ones are no good>> some shops will not even have one in the display case . Get something you will be happy with in the years ahead . My opinion of course spend the extra cash and get a better revolver .

I have a Taurus Tracker 4" .22/.22 magnum. Both cylinders function perfectly, both are very accurate. Yes, it does have a heavy trigger, but I knew that when I bought it. I did buy it new, and I'm very happy with it. The only other Taurus I own is an older Model 65 .357, and it's fine, too. Maybe it's just a matter of luck.

I have an older model, blued with wooden checkered grips. Although the sights are large and squared off (factory), it is extremely accurate. I've taught several people, including my grandchildren, to shoot with this revolver. It's always been 100%, in function and appearance, AND ergonomics. I traded a Spanish FR-8 for this revolver and a box of 325 count .22LR, and still quite happy that I did.
This gun was worth every bit of today's retail price for a new one.

I have owned 12-14 Taurus revolvers. Most have been great. Two or three had mediocre trigger pulls. One was defective. The good ones shoot as good as my Rugers.

I have two of their 22 revolvers. One is on a small frame. It has a heavy trigger but is otherwise okay. One is on their "Tracker" (medium?) frame. It has a nice light trigger. I haven't had any trouble with either one of them.
